Dear Diary, 25th July 1990

Its 9:08pm, a beautiful baby girl was born at Middlemore Hospital, Otahuhu.
Her name is Samantha Renee Edlin.
I knew from the moment I saw her that she would be the next radio superstar.
At the age of 6, she would sit in her room with a torch pretending it was a
microphone with her stereo beside her. Her love and passion for music, and
talking still shines through now.
Now she is learning at the New Zealand Radio Training School, her dream is
closing in on her.
Her hopes in Creative, Production, Promotions and Announcing lay in the
balance, Sam's determination will get her there.
